Stem & Technology
STEM
Kindergarten through fourth grade students receive instruction in science through their weekly thematic units. Third through sixth grade students engage in hands-on STEM explorations and activities using Pitsco Education curriculum. Through a variety of inquiry-based activities and projects, students will explore and enhance their skills in life science, Earth science, physical science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Pitsco Education’s curriculum is linked to the current standards developed by various national, state, and local science, math, and technology educational organizations. With this hands-on, student-centered, cooperative-learning system, we will create an atmosphere that is engaging, informative, and enjoyable for students.

We will have robotic competitions that will allow teams to qualify to compete in the final competition at the end of the year. Extreme Engineering Club will meet in STEM Lab each Wednesday. Club A will meet from 2:30-3:15 (during Study Hall) and Club B from 3:15 – 4:00. (Your time will be assigned.) Applications must be filled out entirely and submitted electronically.
